Forbes.com Article Supporting the Importance of Planning

I just read the article on Forbes.com–The 20 Most Important Questions In Business.

I like this article because it speaks to and supports a position I talk about all the time– Planning, planning and planning. It is so important and, surprisingly, it is often an overlooked element of a business. If, at the start of your business you have written a business plan, you will be giving yourself every reasonable chance for success.

Accompanying  a business plan should be your marketing plan. It is a certainty that the contents of your business and marketing plans will answer most, if not all, of these 20 Most Important Questions In Business.

It is the best way to really “see” your business and understand what needs to be done to grow your business. It is your roadmap.

As the article says– Ignore them at your peril. I would say the same about ignoring the important step of planning.

Read the article at Forbes.com. (The online page where this article resides is a bit messy, so please stick with it. You will have to scroll down to get to the first question, which is– What is your value proposition?)
